Hello friends, Happy Fall! It has been a while since I've sent anything out. How's everyone doing? I don't think I saw any pictures from the picnic, but the picnic went well. We had 195 show up this year. On the personal side, this year I found out I have the BRCA1 genetic mutation and I have been preoccupied researching and scheduling preventative surgeries to reduce my risk of breast cancer and ovarian cancer, so things have been a bit busy, but the journey is going well. I'm working on an informative site that I hope to share soon. For those of you on Facebook - our group is HERE. Molly PS - Don't forget these newsletters are also posted at www.pioneersofrge.com

Gwen Jacobs My wife Gwen passed away on June 17 here at home from Parkinson's disease. I was an employee of RGE for almost 35 years, taking TREP 2 in February of 1994. Prior to our marriage in June of 1956, Gwen ( maiden name Lee ) worked for about 5 years at 89 East Avenue in the cashiers department under Paul Briggs. I am sure that some will remember her. I stay in touch with a co-worker--- Vera Bellows. Richard Jacobs
